Colour choices

Green gold, quinacridone gold and indigo my signature colours express my feelings about our natural world especially our varied geology and terrain.

About Me

I have been a watercolour artist practicing in Yorkshire and Lancashire for the past 20+ years. My art expresses my feelings about a subject rather than being truly representational. I am moved by the intensity of J. M. W. Turner's ethereal paintings and more modern day artist Michael Morgan both of whom challenged watercolour ‘rules’ with loose and evocative styles.
